The team is set to leave the country for South Africa on Friday for the two events beginning with the Sixes which will be held in Pretoria from Saturday.
Tikolo has named seven players for the sixes who included the new call up Patel. The seven will be joined by other seven for the Africa Cricket Cup-which will be played on the one day format set for September 8-13 in Benoni.
Other members of the Sixes squad are captain Rakep Patel, Collins Obuya, Alex Obanda and siblings Shem Obado, Nelson Odhiambo and Nehemiah Odhiambo.
